We are seeking a Senior Purchasing Professional to join our client based in West Oxfordshire.
As Procurement Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- To oversee all purchasing activities in the UK, ensuring the efficient supply of parts into the business.
- Identify areas to reduce costs within the business.
- Undertake strategic procurement activities to identify new suppliers.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in purchasing management within a manufacturing or SME environment.
- Experience of managing costs down within a production environment with knowledge of product engineering and manufacturing.
- People management skills.
- Negotiation and supplier management expertise.
Our client offers a competitive salary (£60,000 - £80,000 per annum) plus benefits, making this a great opportunity to work for a successful organisation with a global reach.
