Procurement Specialist for Construction Industry

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring construction materials, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement principles, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary: £43,000 per annum + bonus

Benefits: Comprehensive pension scheme, health care plan, death in service benefit, and 20 days annual leave

Job Responsibilities:

  • Procure construction materials from suppliers
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve procurement efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective material management
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track procurement performance

Requirements:

  • Degree in Procurement or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and suppliers
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
