About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled nurse to join our team as a Senior GI Screening Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing bowel cancer screening.

Key Responsibilities

  • To conduct nurse-led clinics for patients undergoing colonoscopy procedures
  • To process histology outcomes and provide results to patients, including breaking sensitive news when necessary
  • To support patients throughout the screening process and engage in health promotion activities

Requirements

  • Registered nurse with experience in relevant departments
  • Ability to demonstrate clinical expertise and sound knowledge of lower gastrointestinal diseases and endoscopy procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to cope with emotional issues presented in the course of their work

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £38,890 - £44,503 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and access to training and development opportunities.
