Bristol, Bristol, United Kingdom TIC Health Full time

We are proud to partner with the NHS to deliver a high-quality Lung Cancer Screening Programme in Norfolk and Waveney.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nurse to join our team as a Lung Health Check Specialist Nurse, conducting virtual risk assessments and referring patients for low-dose CT scans.

As a key member of our team, you will provide patient-centred care, delivering specialist nursing advice and support, while working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will also be responsible for educating patients and carers on health promotion, offering brief smoking cessation advice, and referring to local services as needed.

In this role, you will contribute directly to delivering a high-quality, patient-focused service, enhancing early-stage diagnosis and improving survival rates.

The programme aims to diagnose one case of lung cancer each day of screening, and you will play a vital role in achieving this goal.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience working as an autonomous practitioner, providing clinical judgement and decision-making in clinical practice.

You will also need to manage and prioritise your own workload and that of the team, while maintaining high standards of patient care.

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate nurse who is committed to continuing professional development and has excellent communication skills.

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, and we offer a range of benefits, including ongoing training and development opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team, making a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families.
