**Job Overview**

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Consultant Medical Oncologist with expertise in Lung and Lower Gastrointestinal (GI) cancer management. This is a new substantive post based at the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW), with some sessions at North Bristol Trust (NBT).

**Responsibilities**

The post holder will deliver all aspects of clinical care for patients, including outpatient clinics, ward rounds, and attendance at relevant Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs). The successful candidate will join an established team of consultants and will be responsible for delivering a specialist service without direct supervision.

**Requirements**

The ideal candidate will have full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and will have a strong background in Oncology. They will also have the ability to offer expert clinical opinion across a wide range of oncological situations and will be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
