Job Title: Adult Social Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Social Care Worker to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support and guidance to young people in our care service, helping them to achieve their full potential and live independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide individualized support and guidance to young people, promoting their social, emotional, and educational development.
  2. Assist in developing and implementing care plans, ensuring that each young person's needs are met and their goals are achieved.
  3. Liaise with social services, other professionals, and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
  4. Participate in service developments, including planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities, to ensure continuous improvements in service delivery.
  5. Ensure that all young people and staff are treated with dignity and respect, in accordance with our Equal Opportunities policy.
Requirements:
  1. NVQ Level 3 in Children's Social Care or equivalent, or willingness to work towards one within a set timeframe.
  2. Knowledge and understanding of The Children's Act and Children's Social Care system preferred.
  3. Driving Licence.
  4. Previous experience working with young people in a care setting.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, persuade, and negotiate at all levels.
  6. Excellent relationship building skills and ability to work well under pressure.
