We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Special Educational Needs Instructor to join a prominent SEN institution in North West London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with autism and associated learning challenges.
This role involves teaching a mixed KS2 class for the duration of a maternity leave, contributing to a nurturing and dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with autism and severe learning disabilities.
- Foster an environment that encourages students to achieve their potential through stimulating teaching methods.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to assess and support individual learning needs.
- Maintain communication with parents and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to education.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- QTS or a recognized teaching qualification in the UK.
- Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs and abilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Initiative and resilience in a fast-paced educational setting.
- Experience with PECs or Makaton is advantageous.
