Job Overview

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Ecological Project Manager to lead ecology and ornithology projects across various development types.

This role involves managing project performance metrics, auditing, and reporting to senior management. It also requires minimizing risks and liabilities by following health & safety procedures and ISO 9001 quality management system requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project teams to deliver ecological surveys and data recording to a high standard.
  • Conduct site familiarization and develop survey protocols.
  • Provide technical expertise in ornithology and mentor junior staff.
  • Apply nature conservation legislation and Case Law in project negotiations.
  • Deliver precise reports for baseline, advisory, compliance, licensing, and ecological impact assessments.
  • Lead marketing efforts and contribute to campaigns, press releases, and website updates.
  • Drive new business generation through tenders and proposals.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
