Role Summary:

As a Community Staff Nurse, you will work closely with the Named Health Visitor and Early Years Family Practitioners to empower Children, Young People, and Families to make healthy lifestyle choices.

You will be responsible for providing Healthy Child Programme contacts, identifying when extra help may be required, and offering appropriate support or signposting as needed under the direction of the Named Health Visitor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to children, young people, and families
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of public health strategies

Requirements:

  • Qualified nurse with current NMC registration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to accommodate changing priorities and demands
