About the Role
This exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Transportation Professional to join our team as a Fleet Operations Coordinator at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
As a key member of our Transport Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles, which includes 20 vehicles such as one-ton lorries, ton box vans, and other specialized vehicles.
Your primary responsibility will be to drive safely and competently all vehicles within the fleet as required, performing daily safety checks on the vehicles and maintaining them in a clean and tidy condition.
You will be accountable to the Team Leader and Transport Manager for duties allocated according to set schedules and timetables, as well as some ad-hoc tasks.
To be successful in this role, you must have a valid full UK Clean Driving Licence and experience in deliveries and collections. A Drivers CPC qualification is desirable but not essential.
In addition to your driving skills, you should possess basic working mechanical knowledge and be familiar with the Kent county area.
The estimated annual salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
