Job Title: Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our oral and maxillofacial surgery services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing clinical leadership and expertise in oral and maxillofacial surgery
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with complex oral and maxillofacial conditions
- Leading a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
- Contributing to the development of our oral and maxillofacial surgery services, including service redesign and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Entry on the GMC specialist register in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery via relevant CCT, MRCP (UK) or equivalent
- An appropriate higher Surgical qualification
- Experience of leading a team of healthcare professionals and contributing to service development
