Job Description


We are currently seeking a skilled Contracts Manager (Asbestos) to join our team at Amianto Services Ltd.



About the Role




  • Manage projects and contracts from initial enquiry through to job completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Oversee staff to ensure quality service delivery and efficiency in asbestos removal projects.
  • Attend sites and conduct scoping for tenders, compiling plans of works, method statements, and risk assessments in line with company procedures.
  • Supervise staff in safely conducting asbestos removal works, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Work within the Company Policies and Procedures to maintain and achieve accreditations, completing documentation as required.
  • Develop and maintain current and future client relationships, interacting with the HSE/local authority, EA, and governing bodies as necessary.
  • Commit to equality and diversity, promoting non-discriminatory practices in all aspects of work undertaken.


Requirements




  • CSCS Card for Asbestos Removal Manager (Black)
  • Knowledge of INDG275/HSG65 PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act)
  • Method Statement Risk Assessment course
  • Driving Licence
  • Asbestos medical certificate
  • RSPH Level 4 Contract Managers & ILM Level 4 Leadership & Management (Via ARCA or ACAD)
  • Flexibility in approach to work, including evenings, weekends, nights, and working away as required
  • Good knowledge of current H&S and asbestos regulations
  • Ability to deal with technical asbestos removal and abatement issues
  • Compiling method statements and risk assessments in line with statutory guidelines
  • Ability to adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels
