Job Title: Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager

At Redefined Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Consulting department, you will play a vital role in driving the growth of our firm and delivering exceptional client service.

About the Role

The Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing GAAP support and advisory services, and ensuring the highest possible standards of client service. You will work closely with our AFR Directors and Partners to deliver high-quality financial reporting solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, including determining resource requirements, liaising with clients, and monitoring team progress.
  • Provide technical support to AFR Directors and Partners, as well as technical advice to our client base and other departments.
  • Liaise with clients throughout the year, practicing excellent client service and ensuring timely delivery of work.
  • Develop a detailed knowledge of the firm's specialist services and actively look for opportunities to cross-sell.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for specialist hires or graduate recruits, leading first-round interviews and making recommendations.
  • Manage the AFR team's appraisal process, ensuring appropriate objectives and development plans are in place for junior members of the team.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA fully qualified, with at least three years PQE and one year experience of managing a full portfolio of clients.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience of using accounting software and in-depth understanding of UK financial reporting requirements.
  • Well-developed people skills to relate to clients and colleagues, with good organisational and time management skills.
  • At least 3 days present in the office each week to support colleagues face-to-face.
