About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Carrier Solutions UK. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on plant and equipment to ensure they are in good working order and compliant with current legislation.
  • Complete regular checks on electrical and mechanical equipment, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly inspections.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of spare parts and consumables for plant and equipment.
  • Coordinate and file plant and equipment manuals and drawings.
  • Participate in and maintain our EH & S systems and audits.
  • Coordinate service contracts and maintenance visits.
  • Record and track maintenance activities on plant and equipment.
  • Order spare parts and consumables as required.
Requirements
  • Electrical apprentice or timed served craftsman with commercial experience (17th edition or above).
  • Confirmed experience and capability in electrical and mechanical commercial equipment up to 415 V.
  • Maintenance experience across a wide range of electrical equipment, both commercial and domestic.
  • ONC/HNC in a technical subject (electrical and controls) or GCSE in Maths, English, and a technical subject.
  • Computer literate.
  • UK driving license.
