Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of English Academic Mentor in a high-achieving school. As an English Academic Mentor, you will provide invaluable guidance to students during their GCSE exam revision, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with students who require additional support with their GCSE exam preparation
  • Develop and implement effective learning strategies to help students improve their academic performance
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
  • Gain experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
Requirements
  • First-class English degree from a leading UK university
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and abilities
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
