Key Responsibilities:
  • To use a range of teaching methods and resources to connect with students who may face barriers in traditional educational settings.
  • To build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, fostering a safe and encouraging classroom environment.
  • To collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and support teams to ensure a holistic approach to each pupil's development.
Minimum Requirements:
  • A degree in Education or a related field, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in an Alternative Provision or SEN setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate students.
  • Resilience, patience, and creativity in supporting students with diverse needs.
Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum
