Job Description

We are seeking a Trains and Locomotives Engineer to join CV Library on an initial 2-year fixed-term contract based in the UK.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in a Rolling Stock technician role with expertise in fault finding and testing, as well as great knowledge of modern technical systems and fault finding techniques.

This is an outstanding opportunity to work on a brand-new fleet of locomotives, providing support across the business for all condition monitoring and manually monitored systems on the train and its interfaces.

Main Tasks:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on trains and locomotives.
  • Assist the RAMS / Performance Engineer and depot production teams in resolving technical issues.
  • Improve overall performance by working closely with the RAMS / Performance Engineer and depot production teams.

Estimated Salary: £52,750 per annum
