Job Description

The Learning Skills Development Officer will play a crucial role in supporting students at Heart of Worcestershire College. This position involves developing and implementing learning strategies to promote academic progressions and enhance student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver training programs to equip students with essential skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with academic staff to develop and review curriculum content
  • Conduct regular progress reviews with students to identify areas for improvement
  • Implement effective strategies to address learning gaps and barriers

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • 2 satisfactory references

Working Conditions

  • 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum
  • Annual leave entitlement of 25 days, plus 8 public bank holidays and 5 concessionary days
