About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the development and delivery of affordable housing for Dover District Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for the progression and monitoring of the overall development programme, identifying and assessing new affordable housing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project managing the delivery of affordable housing projects, particularly in the pre-contract phase, from project identification to start on site.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with experience of undertaking programme management of housing development programmes.
  • Staff management experience and ability to work within Local Authority or Registered Provider regulatory frameworks.
  • Confidence to act as the main point of contact for new development opportunities, including liaising with developers, landowners and agents.
  • GCSE English and Maths grade C or above and qualified to degree level or equivalent.
