Surveillance Business Analyst Professional

About the Role:
We require an experienced professional to collaborate with business users, project managers, and development teams to develop a thorough understanding of the surveillance infrastructure and business requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Facilitate workshops with third-party vendors and business users to capture and document surveillance requirements.
- Analyze data in detail and provide mapping solutions to onboard new products onto the real-time surveillance platform.
- Work with vendor and internal teams to define solutions for business requirements/issues, engaging with Quality Assurance (QA) testing teams as needed.
- Assess the impacts and dependencies of proposed solutions and respond accordingly.
- Create and maintain design specification documents for trade surveillance alert models.
- Provide QA testing teams with detailed acceptance criteria for all business requirements.
- Liaise with surveillance analysts to lead troubleshooting and triaging of production issues, driving root cause identification and resolution.
- Conduct tuning analysis and recommend alert model parameters for business users to validate across different asset classes and instruments.
- Support UAT testing to validate the business readiness of each surveillance software release.
- Document, track, and escalate risks and issues to the project lead as necessary.
- Participate in daily scrums, backlog refinement sessions, project status meetings, and sprint retrospectives.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the Financial Services/broking industry.
- Knowledge of software development processes and procedures.
- Technical background and understanding of financial products.
