About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Engagement and Education Manager to join our team at Brambles. As a pivotal member of our Sustainability team, you will play a critical role in advancing our regenerative ambition by fostering a culture of sustainability within our organization and creating the right strategic external partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive educational programs on Brambles' material sustainability topics, including decarbonization, lumber certification, and chain of custody, waste, water, social impact, and others.
  • Tailor educational materials and programs to address different stakeholder groups and varying levels of seniority within the organization.
  • Create and update tools to upskill employees, providing them with the necessary resources to incorporate sustainability into their roles.
  • Work closely with Learning & Development to identify opportunities for leveraging existing e-learning platforms.
  • Design and implement continuous learning programs to keep employees informed about the latest sustainability trends and developments.
  • Foster a sense of ownership and commitment to sustainability goals among plant staff through targeted engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices and regenerative mindset into day-to-day operations.
  • Work closely with HR and Marketing teams to embed sustainability initiatives into our EVP, contributing to the organization's appeal as an employer of choice.
  • Develop and implement content to communicate Brambles' leading regenerative story to potential and existing employees.
  • Ensure the availability of relevant content on both internal and external sites, aligning with sustainability messaging and goals.
  • Regularly update and curate content to reflect the latest industry trends and company initiatives.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with multi-stakeholder initiatives, industry events, and sustainability forums to enhance our presence in the sustainability community.
  • Represent the company at relevant events, fostering connections with key stakeholders and staying abreast of industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Active participation in Sustainability program
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering sustainability education programs.
  • Research and analysis
  • Experience in working in a matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership building.
