Job Title: Business Development Manager/LG Channels Partner Marketing Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager/LG Channels Partner Marketing Manager to join our team at LG Electronics. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships with content providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our headquarters to achieve annual business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Negotiate and manage existing agreements with content providers.
  • Investigate and implement new business models to drive growth in the platform business.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with content partners, driving communication, education, data management, performance, and reporting.
  • Attend industry conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with current clients, including conducting Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Collaborate with the Partner Engagement Team to optimize commercial relationships with Content Providers (CPs).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • English-speaking country preferred, with a minimum of one other European language.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in business development, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in programming or product management in the digital video delivery space, with a proven track record of success in technical operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work evenings or weekends for special program live events.
  • Strong negotiation skills.

LG Channels Partner Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and lines of communication with content partners.
  • Become the primary marketing and promotion contact for all content partners.
  • Work with the in-house design team to create templates and own-brand promotions.
  • Create and maintain a promotional calendar.
  • Generate compelling ideas for promotional stunts and seasons.
  • Monitor and track campaign performance and metrics.
  • Track and traffic timely delivery of campaign assets.
  • Liaise with EU marketing teams to communicate service highlights and facilitate local online/social campaigns.
  • Provide ad hoc campaign reports and presentations for content partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing, business development, or a related field.
  • Experience in programming or product management in the digital video delivery space, with a proven track record of success in technical operations.
