Research Facilitator

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Facilitator to join the School of Archaeology at the University of Oxford. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the operation of our research activity, managing research funding proposals, and supporting post-award research activity.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a degree or equivalent professional experience, knowledge of grants and/or contracts, preferably within the education sector. You will also have excellent communication and organisational skills, a high level of numeracy, and confidence in dealing with financial data. Additionally, you should have a flexible, collaborative, and proactive attitude to work.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage research funding proposals for the School
• Oversee post-award research activity
• Develop and advise on funding bids
• Liaise with the University's Research Services
• Develop long-term strategies to enable academics to explore new projects
