Research Facilitator

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Facilitator to join our team at the University of Oxford. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the operation of our research activity, managing research funding proposals, and supporting post-award research activity.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all research funding proposals for the School, ensuring timely submission and effective communication with funding bodies.
- Oversee the School's post-award research activity, including contract management and financial reporting.
- Work closely with the Head of Administration and Finance, Head of School, and Academic Research Facilitator to advise and develop funding bids.
- Liaise with the University's Research Services to ensure compliance with research regulations and policies.
- Develop long-term strategies to enable academics to explore new research projects and funding opportunities.
We are looking for a highly organized and communicative individual with a degree or equivalent professional experience. You should have knowledge of grants and/or contracts, preferably within the education sector, and be able to review and respond to complex written documentation. A high level of numeracy and confidence in dealing with financial data are essential.
You will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with peers and senior academics. A flexible and proactive attitude to work is required, as well as a commitment to promoting funding opportunities and supporting research activity.
