Mortgage Advisor Opportunity

NMS Recruit Ltd is partnering with a highly respected Financial Services firm based in Barnet to secure a Mortgage Advisor. This is a full-time opportunity for a strategic financial leader.

About the Role

We are seeking a CeMAP qualified Mortgage Advisor with 1+ years of experience to join our team. As a Mortgage Advisor, you will be responsible for meeting with clients to assess their mortgage needs and requirements, providing guidance and advice on mortgage options, terms, and conditions, and evaluating client creditworthiness and determining mortgage eligibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with clients to assess their mortgage needs and requirements
  • Provide guidance and advice on mortgage options, terms, and conditions
  • Evaluate client creditworthiness and determine mortgage eligibility
  • Collaborate with underwriters, administrators, solicitors, to ensure smooth mortgage processing
  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, trends, and best practices
  • Build and maintain relationships with estate agents, solicitors, and clients
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the process
  • Managing the entire mortgage application process
  • Handle often-complex client queries on a day-to-day basis
Requirements
  • CeMAP qualified
  • 1+ years of experience as a Mortgage Advisor
  • Competent Adviser Status (CAS)
  • Excellent communication abilities with a passion for delighting customers
  • Be a self-starter and highly motivated to deliver amazing customer experience
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships across internal team members
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment embracing continuous improvement
