Service Charge Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Charge Accountant to join our team at FirstPort. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate financial statements and records to our customers.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver Year-End Accounts: Ensure timely delivery of year-end accounts to residents, maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
- Smooth Accounting Process: Carry out necessary transactions to ensure a seamless accounting process, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Quality Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a high level of satisfaction among our customers and clients.
- Productivity Metrics: Contribute to departmental productivity metrics, driving efficiency and effectiveness in our accounting processes.
- Audit Liaison: Liaise effectively with auditors to deliver a smooth audit process, ensuring the best possible outcome for our customers and clients.
- Proactive Approach: Adopt a proactive approach to audit and accounts, identifying areas of concern and collaborating with analysts and managers to address them.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong accounting background, preferably with a professional accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, or CIMA). You should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting environment and be looking for the next step in your career.
You will be a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail, able to utilize your accounting knowledge to drive results and contribute to the success of our team.
