Supporting SEND Students

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a SEND Teaching Assistant at an Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Levenshulme.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Small Group Support: Assist small groups of SEND students with their academic and personal growth, tailoring resources to meet their unique requirements.
  2. Positive Behaviour: Implement positive behaviour management strategies to foster student engagement and enhance essential social skills.
  3. Student Progress: Regularly monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  4. Adaptable Support: Provide flexible support across multiple subjects, responding to changing student needs and school priorities.
  5. Background in Education: Holding a background in education, psychology, or related fields can be advantageous.
  6. Collaborative Approach: Demonstrate ability to collaborate effectively with teaching staff and other support assistants.
Job Information

This is a full-time, term-time only position starting in January, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role based on performance. The estimated salary for this position is £420 - £495 per week, depending on experience.
