Workshop Production Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Production Lead to join our team in Bury St Edmunds. As Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring vehicles are processed efficiently through the workshop while collaborating with Service Advisors to keep customers informed.
This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your experience and skills to drive departmental success. You will possess excellent man management skills, be driven, and focused. Your primary objective as Workshop Production Lead will be to supervise technicians and administration staff to ensure high productivity and quality, while maintaining manufacturer standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, be able to prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain manufacturer standards. With a busy dealership environment, we require someone who can thrive under pressure, work closely with the team, and build a robust process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise technicians and administration staff to achieve high productivity and quality
- Collaborate with Service Advisors to ensure seamless customer communication
- Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional man management skills and focus
- Prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines and maintain manufacturer standards
Requirements:
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Workshop Controller or similar role
- Strong leadership and man management skills
