Operational Team Lead Position for a Manufacturing Firm

We are seeking an experienced Operational Team Lead to join our client, a leading manufacturer in the local area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the workshop, driving safety and quality standards, and meeting delivery and cost targets.
About the Role
The Team Leader will work closely with the Head of Production to oversee and monitor workers within the area during production activities. This includes ensuring adherence to ethics, safety, and quality procedures. The role also involves providing guidance to employees on how to use tools and equipment, improve quality, or increase speed of production.
The ideal candidate will have previous working experience in a team leading position, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or assembly. Good communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor workers within the area during production activities
- Ensure adherence to ethics, safety, and quality procedures
- Provide direction, training, and feedback to employees
- Collaborate with the Head of Production to drive safety and quality standards
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous working experience in a team leading position

What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £54 per hour, paid weekly. This is a temporary to permanent position, and the ideal candidate should be looking for a role with an immediate start.
