SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Aspire People. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils in the classroom, small groups, and one-to-one settings.
  • Implement individualised support plans to help children achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 in childhood studies or a TA course.
  • Experience working with children with special needs, either in a care setting, childminding, or voluntary work within an educational environment.
  • Desirable: additional SEN training certificates, such as MAPA, Makaton, or Team Teach.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with extra needs.
