The role involves overseeing cases from initial instruction, including taking witness statements, reviewing complex disclosures, instructing counsel, attending conferences and trials, assessing quantum, and making settlement offers. The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively within a team and independently, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an EL/PL caseload, advising on liability and quantum for fast track and multi-track cases up to £100,000
  • Oversight of cases from initial instruction, including taking witness statements and reviewing complex disclosures
  • Instructing counsel, attending conferences and trials, assessing quantum, and making settlement offers
