As a Clinical Informatics Pharmacist, you will play a key role in designing and implementing new ways of working, leveraging digital systems to ensure maximum levels of safety and quality. You will provide specialist pharmacy input to trust-wide and critical care electronic prescribing and medicines administration systems (EPMA), working closely with the project implementation team and Lead Pharmacists for Clinical Informatics.
Main Responsibilities- Provide input to system and supplier evaluation, configuration, testing, and training on EPMA systems, ensuring they support best clinical pharmacist practice in the validation of medicines.
- Lead change management activity and act as project lead for departmental service improvement projects, focusing on digital transformation, data-driven practice, and improving efficiency and productivity.
- Provide pharmaceutical expertise and advice to the adult pharmacy team.
- Contribute to the professional education agenda within the pharmacy department, including training for junior and trainee pharmacists.
- Collaborate with lead pharmacists on various projects across the adult pharmacy and service delivery teams.

Requirements- Masters degree in Pharmacy.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Postgraduate certificate in Clinical Pharmacy.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Experience working with EPMA systems and digital clinical systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage workload effectively.
