Quantity Surveyor - Landscaping

Location: Clapham

Salary: Up to £70,000

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the Commercial Team to ensure effective working and communications
  2. Administer construction contracts, including tendering, reviews, and negotiations
  3. Oversee workforce deployment and timekeeping for subcontractors
  4. Meet with subcontractors to approve stage payments and ensure accurate take-offs and measurements
  5. Evaluate and process change orders
  6. Generate regular cost reports and forecasts for the Construction Manager and Directors
  7. Maintain accurate records of cost-related documents, contracts, invoices, payments, and correspondence
  8. Communicate effectively with the wider team
  9. Support and seek best values in other areas of the business
Requirements:
  1. HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related subject
  2. Experience in the Landscaping industry, preferably in high-end/luxury/bespoke residential and garden projects
  3. Self-motivated, friendly, sociable, and driven
  4. Full driving license
  5. Commercially aware
  6. Attention to detail with a right-first-time attitude
  7. Organisation and time management skills
