Job Overview

In a rapidly expanding company, we are seeking an experienced Fresh Food Sous Chef to join our team at a brand-new quality-focused opening in Musselburgh.

This exciting opportunity is part of a quality-driven concept serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a fresh menu blending local Scottish ingredients and Mediterranean influence, crafted from scratch and sourced locally.

The drinks menu features craft beers, lagers, and cocktails created by an award-winning central bar team, elevating the overall dining experience for customers.

We offer an excellent base salary package of approximately £45,000 per annum, discounted Gym Memberships, financial support packages, and discounted food and drink in any venue in the portfolio.

About You

A seasoned leader in the kitchen, you will harness the talent of the brigades to provide memorable popular food experiences, putting the location on the map in the East of Scotland as a noted place to dine.

You must have prior experience of producing fresh quality food to a minimum 1 rosette culinary level standard in high street restaurants, strong all-round culinary abilities, great presentation skills, and food innovation skills, effective management of the kitchen environment, health, and safety, recruitment, training, and mentoring of others, and strong cost & budgetary control skill sets.
