Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Oldbury. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the maintenance team with all site activities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will manage maintenance on site, improve performance and reliability of maintenance activities, and implement a maintenance strategy. They will uphold a high standard of health and safety throughout the plant and comply with existing procedures. Additionally, they will maintain and repair recycling machinery and mobile plant, as well as work with both mechanical and electrical equipment to diagnose and repair faults.

Requirements
  • A minimum of BTEC/City & Guilds Level Three standard or equivalent qualification
  • Certification to 17th or 18th edition
  • Holding an IOSH certificate
  • Previous experience working with Conveyors, Balers, and Compactors would be advantageous
  • Strong Electrical and Mechanical experience working within Heavy Industry/Process Plant environments

The salary for this role is between £35,000 and £37,000 per annum, plus additional benefits. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias, ideally someone with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
