FryerMiles is partnering with a leading school in High Wycombe to recruit a Finance and Payroll Officer on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise the school's finance team and assist the Senior Leadership Team with financial data as required.
- Process purchasing card transactions, reconcile credit card control accounts, and input accounting data into the accounting system with accuracy.
- Manage staff changes in the payroll system, including new starters and leavers, and undertake monthly payroll reconciliation.
- Produce monthly management accounts and present outcomes to the Director of Business Services.
- Provide training to school budget holders on the finance system and assist with external audit queries.
- Ensure compliance with the Trust's Financial Procedures Handbook and Scheme of Financial Delegation.
- Plan and manage workload to achieve timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Relevant experience in a similar finance position.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team and individually.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of finance and payroll procedures and be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
