Senior Engineering Project Manager

Oyster Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Project Manager to join their team in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and commercial awareness, with a proven track record of delivering projects within budget and in line with company objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, from initial brief to project completion. This will involve working closely with the project management team, as well as collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, with a generous car allowance provided.
The ideal candidate will have a project management qualification and at least 5 years of hands-on experience within a closely related industry. They will also have extensive experience in client-facing roles, including gathering initial project briefs and confidently presenting and negotiating with customers and internal stakeholders.
The role involves travelling to customer sites across the region, so the ability to work independently and collaboratively is essential. The successful candidate will also have a willingness to travel overseas on occasion.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial brief to project completion.
