We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Engineer to join our team at Sizewell B Power Station on a permanent basis. This is a key role within our project and engineering portfolio, which spans across our UK network at all sites and stations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide positive leadership on HSE matters within the Portfolio Project Teams.
- Promote the adoption of best practice and an enthusiastic HSE culture that delivers positive commitment to and engages all employees in continuous improvement in HSE performance.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the HSE Management system and progress against HSE Performance Standards.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of HSE principles and practices. You will be supported and mentored by experienced professionals and given the training and opportunities you need to develop and expand your management and leadership skills with larger and more complex projects.
About Sizewell BSizewell B began construction in 1988 and has generated 250 TWh of zero-carbon electricity since 1995. This is equivalent to powering every home in Suffolk for 192 years or taking 42 million cars off UK roads for a year.
You will be part of a large client-led team at Sizewell B Power Station and will be accountable to the client Project Manager, Programme Manager, and/or Construction Manager. Flexible working arrangements between office and home may be possible, however the role will predominantly be based at the Power Station.
