Job Title: Senior Health and Safety Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Health and Safety Manager to lead Health and Safety delivery at Sizewell C. As a champion of a holistic approach to physical and psychological health and safety, you will address unique risk factors in construction. You will provide local advice and support to assist managers and staff to fulfill their safety responsibilities to high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate strategic objectives to effectively deliver Inclusion + Wellbeing programme across Sizewell C.
  • Measure H&S performance against strategic deliverables.
  • Seek out individuals and teams who are engaged, trusted, and empowered to create health and safety without deviation.
  • Ensure delivery of collective insights/ collaborative conversations to identify what works and why, and what is not working and why.
  • Establish delivery of positive investigations/ appreciative enquiries and engage with the workforce to understand how success is created within the business.
  • Guarantee innovation, research, and adoption of cutting edge, market leading products, technologies, methods and services is regularly promoted, captured and shared to support the delivery of Inclusion + Wellbeing.
  • Promote learning in the projects by effectively cascading business and industry communications.
  • Lead projects in setting Inclusion + Wellbeing maturity goals, inspire progress and report performance as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualification at level 6 (min)
  • Technical knowledge in Occupational Health risk management and wellbeing.
  • Technical knowledge in Safety risk management.
  • Member of relevant professional body.
