Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join our busy ENT/EYE Outpatients Department.

About the Role

This Band 3 position involves assisting clinicians with clinics, arranging appointments, and setting up equipment and rooms. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn ear syringing and specialist imaging for ophthalmology using OCT and Optos.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clinicians with clinics and procedures
  • Arrange appointments and manage patient flow
  • Set up equipment and rooms for procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in ENT/Ophthalmology Outpatients or a similar environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Record keeping and documentation skills
