Corporate Tax Director Job Description

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Director to join our client's team in Reigate. As a key member of the corporate tax department, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of corporate clients.
    • Provide high-level tax advisory services and strategic guidance.
  • Tax Planning and Compliance:
    • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.
    • Review and advise on complex corporate tax matters, including M&A transactions and restructuring.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant tax legislation and regulations.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support.
    • Oversee the delivery of high-quality tax services and ensure deadlines are met.
    • Promote a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify opportunities to expand our client base and grow revenue.
    • Participate in networking events and industry forums to enhance the firm's reputation and visibility.
    • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with extensive experience in corporate tax.
  • Proven track record in providing strategic tax advice and managing complex client engagements.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Business development acumen with a demonstrable track record of generating new business.
Benefits:

The client is offering a competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of £90,000 - £110,000, 25 days' holiday, and auto-enrolment pension.
