Store Operations Leader

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

About the Role

The Store Operations Leader at M&S is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. This involves leading a team to deliver excellent customer service and KPIs across the store.

You will support the store to trade safely and legally, protecting customers, colleagues, and the M&S brand. This includes maintaining a safe and legal store environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Lead a team to deliver excellent customer service and KPIs across the store.
  • Support the delivery and embedding of business transformation plans and change initiatives for the store.
  • Create a multiskilled team, coaching and training them to fully utilize all available tools to serve and sell well.
  • Use data and insight to improve customer in-store experience, improve operations, and drive performance.
Requirements
  • Ability to lead a team to deliver excellent customer service and KPIs across the store.
  • Good understanding and up-to-date knowledge of commercial, visual, operational, and people processes and systems.
  • Good level of digital capability and an understanding and use of all systems.
  • Knowledge of our people policies and managing performance within a team.
