About the Role

We are seeking experienced Trade Operatives to join our Responsive team in Glasgow, covering Central and West Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will work on properties across the region, utilizing your skills in joinery, plumbing, tiling, and painting. The role involves carrying out construction, fault fixing, and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out construction, fault fixing, and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and restock as needed
  • Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, resolving problems or initiating resolution processes while keeping customers informed
  • Provide accurate and timely information on work progress that is easily understood by customers
Requirements
  • SVQ Level 2 in core subject or SVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, Unvented - G3 Certificate, Water Regulations (WRAS) if plumbing is core, or currently undertaking the qualification
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  • Good communication and customer care skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize workloads
  • Full valid UK driving license for company vehicle use
