Senior Operator

We are seeking a skilled Senior Operator to join our team at Brora Distillery, a world-renowned distillery with a rich history. With a focus on producing high-quality single malt whisky, we are looking for someone to play a key role in our production processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manual and automated production systems, as well as a strong understanding of process controls and problem-solving techniques. They will be responsible for optimizing our production processes to improve performance, coordinating and controlling all site production and process activities, and maintaining a safe and organized workplace environment.

About the Role

• Manual and automated production, recording and management reporting systems
• Optimise our production processes to improve our performance
• Coordinate and control all site production and process activities
• Maintain a safe and organised workplace environment through adherence to site Safety and housekeeping practices
• Deliver against Key performance indicators such as Safety, Quality, Service, Cost and People

About You

We are looking for someone who is a diverse thinking individual, able to act independently and work well within a team. Previous manufacturing experience in a food production environment is beneficial but not crucial. Being a fast learner and critical problem solver is essential, as is a desire and ambition to learn and master the art of distilling.
