Role Overview
As a Finance Manager within our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial success. You will be responsible for managing financial accounts, forecasting income, expenses, and assets, and providing timely financial reports to key stakeholders. Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding a team of finance professionals and collaborating effectively with directors to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Develop and manage operating budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and statements, providing insightful analysis to support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with directors, providing timely and accurate financial information to facilitate strategic planning and reporting requirements.
- Oversee monthly management accounts and budgets, ensuring adherence to established procedures and controls.
- Continuously evaluate and improve internal controls and procedures to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
- Present progress reports and actively participate in meetings, effectively communicating financial insights and recommendations.
- Undertake ad hoc activities as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to evolving business needs.
Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant with a proven track record of success in financial management.
- Extensive industry experience, preferably within a multinational corporation.
- Fluency in Korean and English, enabling effective communication across diverse teams.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing finance teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Cross-cultural work experience, demonstrating adaptability and sensitivity to different business practices.
- Experience in Project Accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting for complex projects.
- Proficiency in accounting packages, spreadsheets, and databases, enabling efficient data analysis and reporting.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, effectively conveying financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to make sound financial decisions, demonstrating analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of documentation requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Adaptability to corporate business philosophies, embracing a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
