About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Adult Services Team Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of care to our users and supporting our qualified staff in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Independent Personal Advisors (IPAs) and Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs) to ensure effective team working and delivery of services.
  • Provide advice and guidance, regular case management, supervision, and staff inductions to ensure the team is equipped to deliver high-quality services.
  • Work closely with other Team Managers, Services Manager, and Director to ensure quality of service and strategic development.
  • Facilitate staff development, including mentoring, delivering training, and facilitating regular team meetings.
  • Ensure adequate provision of services for all women, children, and young people accessing the service.
  • Respond and manage service user feedback, adhering to the organisation's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • At least 6 months experience in a managerial role supporting victims of domestic abuse.
  • Understanding of how to respond to safeguarding issues and legal responsibilities surrounding the issues.
  • Experience of managing referrals, working within a multi-agency and legislative framework.
  • IDVA training certificate.
  • Driving is essential for this role, and you must be open to on-call duties as well as work from Monday to Friday.
