About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Adult Services Team Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting our qualified staff in delivering exceptional care to our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a variety of projects across our services, including the One-stop shop, community outreach team, and DRIVE project workers.
  • Manage a multi-faceted team of IPA's and IDVA's through promoting and supporting effective team working.
  • Provide day-to-day operation of the team, offering advice and guidance, regular case management, supervision, and staff inductions.
  • Collaborate with other team managers, Services Manager, and Director to ensure quality of service.
  • Participate in the senior management team's strategic development by identifying and implementing ongoing continuous service improvement.
  • Facilitate staff development, including mentoring, delivering training, facilitating regular team meetings, observing practice, etc.
  • Ensure adequate provision of services for all women, children, and young people accessing the service.
  • Respond and manage service user feedback.
  • Adhere to the organization's policies and procedures and comply with data protection legislation, safeguarding legislation, confidentiality, and information sharing policy and procedures.
  • Support service users and advocate internally and externally using a trauma-informed holistic approach.
  • Work effectively in partnership with statutory and non-statutory agencies.
Requirements
  • At least 6 months of experience in a managerial role supporting victims of domestic abuse.
  • Understanding of how to respond to safeguarding issues and legal responsibilities surrounding the issues.
  • Experience of managing referrals, working within a multi-agency and legislative framework.
  • IDVA training certificate.
  • Driving is essential for this role, and you must be open to on-call duties as well as working from Monday to Friday.
