Job Title: Structured Trade Finance Legal Director/Partner

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structured Trade Finance Legal Director/Partner to join our team in London. As a key member of our Structured Trade Finance team, you will play a critical role in advising clients on complex trade finance transactions, including pre-export finance, prepayment finance, stock/inventory finance, and repo financing structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate bilateral and syndicated facilities, managing documentary credits, standby credits, and guarantees.
  • Facilitate tri-partite agreements between traders, brokers/members, and financing banks.
  • Provide counsel on various trade finance transactions, including borrowing base finance, receivables finance, payables financing, forfaiting, and factoring.

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience in general banking within a reputable law firm, particularly in trade finance and ABL. You will have a strong knowledge of commodities and STF matters, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
