Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Logistics Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team in Northampton.

This role is critical in delivering exceptional support to our colleagues in operations, commercial teams, and the broader network.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing analytical financial expertise, working closely with our warehouse team to understand cost drivers and processes.

As the analytical heart of the business, you will produce insightful reports and analyses, collaborating with senior management to drive efficiency and success.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collating and reporting weekly volume, revenue, and gross margin accounting/operational information.
  • Partnering with operational and account management teams to ensure data billing and customer services meet the highest standards.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience in financial procedures, management accounts, ledgers, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to investigate and analyse data, identify trends and anomalies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Confidence to question and challenge data and processes.
