About the Role

We are seeking a Compliance Auditor to join our Hull Technical Team. The successful candidate will work on a 2-shift rota, conducting duties to ensure quality is maintained throughout production.

Responsibilities

Develop and ensure complete compliance to all food safety and quality standards, including HACCP, legislation, ISO, BRC, and customer COPs.
Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance across all departments.
Work with all departments to ensure root cause analysis is undertaken to facilitate continuous improvement projects and ways of working.
Assist with complaint investigations to ensure appropriate corrective and preventative actions are taken, as well as assisting in the closure of audit non-conformances within the required timescales.
Perform hygiene checks to ensure standards are maintained.
Provide data for daily and monthly KPI reports and drive quality improvements across the site.
Ensure the positive food safety culture across the site.

About You

The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:
Previous experience working in a similar role (FMCG experience advantageous)
Strong attention to detail.
Food hygiene/HACCP qualification advantageous.
Able to work well within a team and on own initiative.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to find areas for improvement.
Problem-solving skills.
Able to make and communicate decisions.
